Ashley Vargas started playing when she was 13 and played high level club level for 5 years. She then continued for fun in college and still plays high level competitive adult volleyball. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in finance and currently works as a client specialist.
She loves playing volleyball because it has always been her passion and a great stress reliever. It’s such a great team-oriented sport. She wants to coach to give back to young athletes, help them feel good about themselves and positively impact their lives. She hopes to teach her athletes to work as a team, enjoy the game, and to believe in themselves and that anything is possible.
Who inspires her: Ellen DeGeneres, because she always says to be kind to one another, always gives back, and just has a positive attitude and outlook all the time. In order to make this world a more positive and better place we need to put our own needs and wants aside sometimes and analyze the whole picture....sometimes all it takes is a simple hello to make someone’s day a little brighter!
